Alan Ashley
Alan AshleyOwner / Coach
Alan is a certified personal trainer through the American Council on Exercise (ACE) as well as a qualified TRX Group Instructor. Alan eats, sleeps and breathes fitness. Possessing an extensive background in athletics, his program designs have been tried and tested to build lean muscle, reduce overall body fat and enhance your overall mood and appearance.

After losing his 6 year old daughter to cancer in 2012, Alan has been working to help families throughout the community to establish healthy lifestyles as homage to his daughter. “As a trainer, I find that people fail to reach and maintain healthy lifestyles due to a lack of knowledge and accountability. I work closely with the community to improve self-efficacy and ensure proper fitness and nutrition.”

Rocky Bang

Rocky is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). His love of fitness began in college when he was overweight and not happy with the way his body looked. It was then that he decided to make a change. Within a few months of healthy eating and daily exercise, he lost 40 pounds and never looked back. Fitness and living healthy have become his way of life.

Rocky loves to spread his knowledge of fitness wherever he goes–whether assisting clients to achieve their fitness goals or helping a complete stranger at the gym, Rocky sees every moment as a way to teach and empower others with his passion for fitness.

I have always been kind of gym person. I didn’t get interested in professional training till I turned 40 and needed to get back into shape after having 2 kids. I played high school sports, swimming and softball.

Achievements:

I have been on the podium in my age group in the Trek Womens Duathlon events, and multiple 5k& 10k races. I have run 5 full marathons , 20 ½ marathons, and participated in a Born to Run Ultra Marathon and participated in numerous triathlon sprint and Olympic distance events. I have also placed in the top of my age at the Santa Barbara Triathlon 2011 & 2012. I am currently a member of PAA Cycling.

Why I Do What I Do:

I enjoy helping people find the joy in fitness. Building a program and helping people achieve their fitness goal. Whether they are looking for weight loss, endurance, strength or overall health, I know I can help. I enjoy getting people to try new things, and to step out of their fitness comfort zone.

You may have seen Nikki sweating it out on the mat next to you in class, but did you know she also contributes behind the scenes at Push Pull Cardio? Writer, Photographer, Editor, and Blogger are just some of the “hats” Nikki wears here at PPC. A self-proclaimed nerd, she has an MA in Forensic Psychology, a BS in Sociology, and a day job in civil rights. And as a lover of all things food related, she enjoys exploring and trying new restaurants around the LA area—make sure to share some of your favorites with her and maybe you’ll even see them featured on the Blog.
